For example, the license plates marked with とちぎ are issued in Sano and not the city of Tochigi, and the city of Tochigi writes its name in kanji. There are also a few prefectures with only one issuer that issue license plates with the prefecture name. For example, Tsu is the only issuing city in Mie, and it issues license plates that say Mie | |
