Apr 4, 2016 at 3:23 comment added goldbrick It translates (rather literally) to something like "So much so that telling (her/him) just once or twice wouldn't convey (that feeling) remotely enough.", so " 一度や二度じゃ" is used in reference to the act of "伝える". But something about that Japanese feels a bit off, to my mind anyway. ("One or two what exactly?" was precisely my first reaction upon reading it.)
