Now, I am mostly a Java programmer at a company that develops mobile and desktop payment applications. It also operates a payment gateway for e-commerce and bricks & mortar businesses.
Out of college, I worked in Tokyo as tech support for an enterprise software company, then as tech support for a small company that sold financial risk management software. I left Japan, got an MBA at Chicago Booth, and then took several years off to deal with personal matters.
Now I'd like to relocate back to Tokyo.
I'd like to offer to help any Japanese get accepted into graduate school. I've done this once already and felt very happy. I graduated Chicago Booth and was accepted into several other top MBA schools. I can explain the "formula" to use for the Analytical Writing assessment on the GRE / GMAT. On the school's application essay itself, I can identify topics, based on the applicant's personal history, that will make him or her more desirable to that school. I will proofread and suggest vocab and grammar improvements, with explanations done in Japanese (I hope). I studied how to teach English grammar while speaking in Japanese, but have just never had the chance to try. If interested, please contact me.
