Japanese Background:

I learned japanese in college, lived there for 2 years (taking more Japanese courses for a full year) and worked in a japanese company, didn't like their work culture (as expected), and came back to the states.

I'm also somewhat of a native Taiwanese person with slightly broken Mandarin skills (they speak Mandarin in Taiwan mostly). But I would say those small qualities helped me to understand pronunciation of Japanese words a lot better than most English native speakers.

Obviously, based on my background, I'm not a master of Japanese by any means but I can certainly help!
