My guess is : "You can derive a series of actions/behaviors from several processes/mechanisms(? no subject here so I'm not sure).Take those behavioral patterns and arrange them in order of most likely to less likely , read through and understand them, and prepare your approach accordingly."
Context: MC just release a sudden attack, but his opponent blocked that attack very fast. She said that she had read/ predicted his attack. And this sentence is describing his thought about his opponent's ability.
