The following phrase is said in the beginning of the movie Kimi no Na wa:
The characters are talking while eating breakfast, so the meaning is probably "I'll make breakfast tomorrow".
But what exactly is the function of
でね in this sentence? At first I thought it was a combination of the contextual particle
で and the sentence-ending particle
ね, but how can "making breakfast" be a context? I must be getting something wrong.
Also, I don't think this is related to the answer, since
でね is coming after a non-conjugated verb here.
