Why can't I say ”山に多い雪があります”? What does ”は” after ”に” mean?
-
Unrelated to the は but I wonder if you noticed that you used 多い in one sentence and 多く in the other?– user3856370Commented Mar 1, 2021 at 15:14

1Be careful. That 多く acts adverbially on あります. It does not act on 雪. These links should help: japanese.stackexchange.com/questions/21296/… and japanese.stackexchange.com/questions/66648/…– user3856370Commented Mar 1, 2021 at 19:07
