so for topic markers I usually use は but what about を? I assume its used for verbs? if its not then correct me.

    を marks the object of a verb. It never marks the topic. The converse is more interesting. Please check some basic Japanese grammar books/sites and come back here if you still have questions. – user3856370 Dec 24 '20 at 13:16
