First off I am considering sending this back to Japan IF I decide to go that route I already know about obonsociety. I've just purchased this and would like to know more about it first.

Japanese flag, likely pulled off of a dead soldier by a US soldier during ww2.

Having trouble translating the names/phrases. Would love some help.Japanese WW2 Flag

  • There's a lot here. Is there a specific area of the flag you want looked at? If so, can you also give a little context why you are struggling with said area? (Simple reasons are okay, we just want to know how to best help you learn the language.) – ajsmart Apr 18 at 13:08
  • I'm most interested in the name of the recipient and who it was from. – Alden Apr 18 at 13:30
