I encountered this specific character while reading, and I've seen it before but can't recall meaning/reading. I've also had no luck trying to look it up, in spite of it's simple shape. Hopefully someone can help me out (it's the first character, not the 気).

EDIT:actually そ appears in the text as well preceding this, same font I think.. which is why I thought it couldn't be that, how strange. Well, thanks for the guidance.

  • In some manga, fonts can be changed in the middle of series due to typesetting machine replacement or whatever. They usually have similar, but distinct typefaces. – broccoli forest Nov 6 '18 at 10:00
