trying to understand the difference in semantics between the two following sentences:

Doko ga, restaurant desu

Restaurant wa, doko desu ka.

In my head they both mean the same thing. Any clarity on this would be brill - thanks!

Doko ga, restaurant-o arimasu. どこがレストランをあります is grammatically incorrect and makes no sense. Can you double check what you meant to write? – Chocolate Jul 22 '18 at 15:04
