Oct 4, 2013 at 14:43 comment added istrasci I think that's poor input in 大辞林 to call 「てよ」 and 「てね」 their own forms. It's just the て form, often with よ・ね added for emphasis. I would not want the OP (who notes his experience with Japanese as very little) to think these are separate forms that have other common usages. It should say something like 「よ」、「ね」をつけて意を軽くすることもある.
