@istrasci I think "short in height" fits better, otherwise you may be tempted to say 背が短い. Also the always confusing 鼻が低い. :)

@Tsuyoshi-san Hmm, I guess there are exceptions to this rule about touching, but it generally holds up. What would be your rule of thumb for the distinction? As for cold atmosphere, I should have probably better said that people can become 寒い in a 冷たい atmosphere.
