I live in Tokyo and want to get more comfortable with Japanese.
I sometimes write in lang8 at http://lang-8.com/342891, please check it if you want to friend or correct me.
I'm mostly focusing on reading/grammar now. http://www.youtube.com/user/jlptn1?feature=mhee is my youtube channel where I used to stream my jlpt n1 kanji/vocab flashcard study time. I passed it but just barely, so I'm still interested in studying for it.

“To call” or “To receive a call” Within context caller can be かけた人. Informally, 電話の人 and in some cases just general 'third-person' constructs like 先の人 also works. If formality is needed as you might expect it isn't short, but 電話主{でんわぬし}, 電話の主{ぬし}or 電話をくださった方 are also used in addition to your example. |

Is this a slang, and possibly derogatory term, for “lesbian”? That's funny. The translator should have looked it up, though at the same time I appreciate the logical humor in calling someone who brushed my affections off a 'candy thief'. |

入らない versus 入れない in a JLPT question Glad it helped! Also, I'm saying that it should be いれない instead of はいれない. |

あっけなく vs ものたりなく Thanks. As I state A is the correct answer. Your logic seems to follow that, so is this a typo? |
