I'm an iOS developer (iPhone and iPad) but I'm just as likely to be writing a backend server used by one of these mobile apps as I am to be hacking away on Objective-C.

Recently I've become addicted to server-side Javascript and Node.js. The more I dive into Javascript the more I love it, quirks and all and Node.js is the evented programming model I've been waiting for.

A high performance C++ programmer by trade, I have a new appreciation for the cleanness and brevity of the non-compiled babies that are Python and Ruby. I love you gcc, but your days are numbered.
