comment The song in my thought
@非回答者: I'd disagree. 蘇る implies it occurs outside of your control. Thus it's primarily used when there is a trigger. It's of course unclear what the trigger here is, but I don't find it weird if it's him/her actually hearing the song again. He/she could be "re-experiencing" the particular instances of this song being played in the past, triggered by hearing the song again. After all it's the associated emotions that 蘇る and not the song.

comment How impolite is it to call a waitress お姉{ねえ}さん?
@user312440: Not to call a waitress. It can be used when you pass (ごめんなさい通してください) or when you visit somebody (ごめんください), but both sound old fashioned. It's stronger than すみません and is generally reserved for stuff that actually needs apologies.

comment How impolite is it to call a waitress お姉{ねえ}さん?
@user312440: FYI ごめんなさい would be a bit weird, a loud すみませーーーーん! is the standard protocol :) They definitely will cut some slack, I think most will actually find it funny.

comment Help with the meaning of 大絶賛 in this sentence
@EISigh: It's not really sarcasm as it is practices in the west though. It's more like a word play with a bit of self depreciation rather than stating the opposite. I do think real sarcasm is not part of daily communication in Japan.

@josquius: No probs. Tried to define it as good as possible, but I'm not sure myself and it may vary among native speakers I guess.
