I work at Hex-Rays, developing IDA disassembler and Hex-Rays decompiler. I like reverse engineering, embedded devices and other low-level stuff.

I've listened to the episode and it seems to be just "Exciting night with Namin!".

comment How is “gomen” used?
I've also seen ごめんください used in a couple anime in a similar fashion (i.e. as a sort of "Hello, anyone home?"), and I think they were based in Tokyo.

「不束者ですが、よろしくお願いします。」is the classic line used by the bride when agreeing to a marriage proposal.

comment Is「うそおっしゃい」to be taken literally here?
A better translation would be "I know/can tell that you're lost" (which would mean he's not from around here).

comment How do ことになる and ようになる differ? (When ことになる cannot = “It has been decided that”)
Well, @Brandon's answer could be using blockquote and it would look fine. The issue in this one is that it mixes example text with explanation in the quote block.

@Tim: I'm not talking about the 「」but about the blockquote (yellow background box). However, you can also mark Japanese text with backticks. (The link also mentions using blockquote, but for fragments of Japanese text).

Quote formatting for text which is not actually a quote is confusing.

@ZhenLin: why not post this as answer?
