comment Business Japanese: what's the proper way to say “please visit [this URL]”?
@Kentaro Tomono - IIRC, my original intent when asking this question was to give instructions on how to change a user's profile on our website. So I was writing something like "To change your setting, go to www.example.com, then click "my profile", then click "settings".

comment Is there an “official” font or other writing standard that should be used when teaching kanji?
Thanks. It looks like that is indeed what I need. Now I just have to find a 教科書体 font that is licensed in such a way that I can distribute it.

@comeauch On further examination it seems the license for that font doesn't allow for distribution, which could be a problem. But at least I have an idea what to look for now.

@comeauch - I found the font you were talking about here: epson.jp/download2/printer/driver/win/page/ttf30.htm. Thanks for the recommendation!

comment How is “gomen” used?
@DariusJahandarie - Fair enough. As I admitted, I was only speculating. I'll add your reference to my answer.

@Rilakkuma I've heard people in the Nagoya area say ごめんください when walking into a neighbor's yard without their perimssion. Like saying お邪魔します when entering a house.
