What's the meaning of しない as in …するしない? Thanks, but I'm still confused why this is given explicitly to illustrate 'noun + にかかわらず'. How can a verbform be a noun? |

Why use あんなに instead of こんなに when expressing one's memories? Thanks. I guess maybe my brain wants to see symmetry where there isn't. I.e. there are situations where こ becomes そ (and vice versa) and あ stays あ depending on who's speaking. And then there are situations where there is no こ, and for some things あ and そ are interchanged depending on the speaker, and for other things, both use あ. Does that make sense? |

What's the difference between せっかく and わざわざ? Interesting! I looked it up in 類語例解辞典, and the explanation is (word by word) identical to the one from goo... |

Why use あんなに instead of こんなに when expressing one's memories? Fixed broken markdown. Apparently, some_file_name is more important that bolding in Japanese. |
