Hello, I'm Kobi. I'm 28 years old and live in Israel with my wife Suzi.
I'm a programmer. I like programming, which is good. I work at HP as a web developer. I work a lot with Asp.net, HTML, CSS and JavaScript (mostly using jQuery when I can). As a part of my job I'm also developing in Oracle PL/SQL and SharePoint.
In my free time I like using the internet, reading books, and always being with Suzi.

What is the difference between ずに and ない-form? This sort of makes sense, thanks. On the second sentence, you say the answer should be ~ない because と follows it, but our book says the answer is ならず. We looked again for the answer, and it does look like you are right. Thanks! |

What is the difference between ずに and ない-form? We've also found What is the difference between 〜ないではいられない and 〜ずにはいられない, but it didn't quite explain it. |

What Does 火信 Mean? Do you suppose it could mean "Abiding faith"? The source may be a Hebrew word that is hard to translate - it's a combination of Abiding and Burning. I like this answer. I'm not sure about Chinese though - "fire letter" doesn't make much sense either :) |

What Does 火信 Mean? Hmm... less likely, but also interesting. - it was written from the top down: 火 above 信. |

What Does 火信 Mean? Thank you, that is a very interesting answer. The gentleman in question certainly wasn't Japanese, I think he spoke Russian (I live in Israel, by the way). My wife studies Japanese as a hobby, and was quick enough to memorize the tattoo. You raise a good point: her guess was also similar to "burning faith" based on the two kanjis. So, basically, if people recognize it as a word and are able to understand its meaning - it is a word. |
