comment 隣村まで足にのばす。Best way to interpret this sentence?
Hmm... Isn't it 「[隣村]{となりむら}(に)まで足をのばす」(not 足に but 足を.)??

comment Reading of 味 as a suffix in “X-flavour” / as a counter in “X flavours”
@nkjt We also have [塩味]{しおみ} and [塩気]{しおけ} for "saltiness" but 塩味 is normally read しおあじ. Casually we say しょっぱい, [塩味]{しおあじ}が強い/きつい, [塩]{しお}が多い/きつい for "(too) salty". I also say [辛]{から}い (but maybe it's only in Kansai.)

Ah, you're not mistaken, I just didn't know they could also be written as きりう. detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q138326753 (I didn't know [胡瓜]{きゅうり} was きうり, from 木瓜/黄瓜!)

I think we actually pronounce そういうこと言う as そおゆうことゆう(sooyuukotoyuu), not as "souiukotoiu".

comment Does the 擬態語 word もやもや have a slang meaning of “horny?”
「むらむら」をhornyの意味で使うようになったのはけっこう近年です zokugo-dict.com/33mu/muramura.htm ...で、「もやもや」はあまりhornyの意味で使わないです。どちらかというと‌「煙・湯気が立ち込める」「はっきり・すっきりしない」「気分が晴れない」などの意味で使うことが多いです。ちなみに、「もやもや病」っていう病気があってね・・・ ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/… (えっ、英‌語で"Moyamoya disease"!?)

comment Origin of 楽しみ and 楽しみにする
I think the に in 悲しみに暮れる/苦しみに悶える is the case particle, and the に in 静かに待つ is part of the 連用形 form of the na-adjective 静か... (<<Am I right??) But I don't know what the に in 楽しみに is! ahaha~

comment Why use 分 in this question?
@Hyperworm ああ、つまり「ゴミに出す分」というからには、どこかに「ゴミに出さない分」がある、ということで、「アミちゃんにあげる分」というには、どこかに‌「自分の分」か「アミちゃん以外の人にあげる分」などがあるはず、ということですね。

comment Origin of 楽しみ and 楽しみにする
So 悲しみに暮れる, 苦しみに悶える look similar but aren't the same structure as 楽しみに待つ...? Because the に in 悲しみに is the case particle, and we say 楽しみですね。/楽しみなデート but not 悲しみですね。/悲しみな別れ/苦しみですね。/苦しみな労働... (Hmm I'm not sure...むずっ!)

comment How can I translate けど in this sentence?
Are both sentences said by the same person? (I first thought the second sentence was saying "The ball is not that hard, is it?" as a response to "Hey, I'm a model, so my face is very important, you know!"...) Anyway I think the「けど」is like... 「~けど、わかってんの?」with a kind of criticizing tone.

I think the けど is #2-1 in dictionary.goo.ne.jp/leaf/jn2/68969/m0u or #3-1-㋑or㋒ in dictionary.goo.ne.jp/leaf/jn2/34931/m0u/%E3%81%8C でももう少し強い感じですよね
