I'm currently learning hirgana and I was wondering what the best way was to learn it. Currently I am reading and writing each character 10 times. I was wondering if there were simple hiragana vocab that I could also do. If someone could point me in the correct direction, it would be much appreciated.

There's a post on the meta site on resources for learning Japanese, and you are welcome to ask about learning hiragana, and anything else within reason in the chat room, even though it's off-topic here.
